coach today gave graphic testimony in the first hearing tied to the jerry sandusky sex allegation. the judge in that case decided, ahead in 12 minutes. >>> now, to oakland, a judge sentenced an alleged gang member to life in prison for the near fatal shooting of a fremont police officer. the 21-year-old was convicted of attempted murder in august 2010 shooting. capture inside san diego county days after the shooting. the officer, todd young, was trying to arrest him on felony evasion and domestic charges when he opened fire hitting young twice. he spent two months in the hospital. he hopes to return to the force next summer. >>> san jose police say they launched an internal investigation of a deadly officer-involved shooting that took place last night. it started at 11:00 p.m. when the officers approached a man carrying an open container of beer. they ended up having to chase the man in a house where he pulled a handgun from his waistband and toss today in a bathroom. >> there was an individual in that bedroom who saw the officer and -- bathroom, saw the officer and they raised th
situation where kids were playing in a pool with jerry sandusky, was later separated from that group and taken on a tour by jerry sandusky of the football building. now, a lot of other incidents have happened at that football building, but all of them have been alleged to have happened in a shower. this man is saying that he was taken to an office. he was given whiskey and he talked to sandusky about his life and how he ended up at the second mile and then he was assaulted before jerry sandusky took him back to the dorms. >> we know jerry sandusky has a number of charges against him already. with these new claims about sandusky, will additional charges be pressed against him, sara? >> don, that's hard to say. you know, there have been, by my account, five people have come forward since the initial charges were filed and made public allegations against jerry sandusky. they are, the majority of them, as far as we know, have also talked to the attorney general's office and given statements to police. however, it's hard to know if they are, if they are actually going to lead to charges.

. >>grant: for the first time we are hearing from the man who says he saw jerry sandusky's sexually assaulting a young boy in a campus shower. that testimony helps the case against his former bosses at penn state. mike mccurry is considered a star witness. he says he believes he saw former defensive coordinator jerry sandusky's sexually molesting a young boy between the ages of 10 and 12 in a shower back in 2002. mccrery is an assistant coach and testified on friday that it was very clear, it looked like there was intercourse going on. he also said he relayed that information to to ban state administrators. friday's preliminary hearing was for curry and shultz who are accused of lying to a grand jury about what mccrery told them. mccurry said when he met with them to discuss the alleged incident, it was described as extremely sexual in nature. curley and schulz maintained their innocence but the judge overseeing today's hearing decided that there is enough evidence to bring them to trial. the two are charged with perjury and failure to report an assault of a child. >>catherine: the
